Hi! We’re husband and wife, and the team behind Salt and Mist. We’re based just outside Chicago, where we live with our dog Max, our cat Navi, and our growing little family. We’ve been together for nearly a decade, married for four years, and recently became parents in late 2023 (with baby number two on the way!).

Long before we picked up cameras professionally, we were known as a “tag team”—from serving together on the church tech team to late-night gaming sessions. That same chemistry now fuels our work, capturing real, heartfelt moments that reflect the beauty of everyday love.
